Argentina has launched an anti-dumping review and a change of circumstances review against Chinese sunglasses and eyeglass frames. 

On 4 October 2017, the Argentine Ministry of Production issued Resolution 511-E/2017 in the Official Gazette of Argentina, The decision was made by the Argentine Optical Industry Association and local enterprises LGI S.R.L., FADANOVA S.A., ALBACETE S.A., MAS DE LO QUE VES S.R.L. And RANIERI ARGENTINA S.A., on sunglasses and eyeglass frames originating in China (Spanish: anteojos de sol, armazones para anteojos y gafas (anteojos) correctoras o pregraduadas) conducts anti-dumping sunset reviews and changes of Circumstances Reviews to initiate investigations. The codes of Nangong Customs of the products involved are 9003.11.00, 9003.19.10, 9003.19.90, 9004.90.10 and 9004.10.00.

On April 6, 2011, the Industry and Trade Commission of the former Ministry of Industry of Argentina adopted Resolution 75 to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against sunglasses and eyeglass frames imported from China. On October 4, 2012, Argentina made the final anti-dumping judgment on the products involved in the case from China and imposed anti-dumping duties of US $13.09~ US $16.88 per unit.
